It's more than just a ring.
It's even more than just a diamond ring.
I've seen friends receiving it, wearing it, and the smiles on their faces. Now I realize it's not that simple. It's light on my finger, but it draws deep into my heart. It carries a promise of liability & responsibility. And when I accept it the promise lands on my shoulder to honor it.
I see myself different.
No words can describe how it is.
I am not the same even to myself.

I might have some idea of what u r saying. Whenever I look at it, it reminds me that there's someone who loves me enough to make a commitment, although no one knows what the future holds for us. Instead, because we know WHO holds our future, we are willing to bear this uncertainty.
This is for sure another major stage in life. Enjoy! =)
